Job Summary
The Store Manager in Training position involves assisting the store manager with sales, appearance, and overall operations to prepare for future management roles. Responsibilities include supervising daily operations and team members, participating in hiring and evaluations, conducting performance reviews, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining the store environment. Candidates should possess a high school diploma, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to completing required training programs. Knowledge of automotive parts is essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Must complete Assistant Manager Certification
- Sales Specialist Training
- Manager Development Program
- Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately
- Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems
Desired Qualifications
- O’Reilly store and/or distribution center experience
- Completed O’Reilly management training program
- Advanced computer skills
- ASE Certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
