Job Summary
Assist store manager in sales, appearance, and overall store operations while receiving hands-on training for a future management position. Supervise professional delivery/installer and retail parts/merchandising specialists, including recruiting, hiring, evaluating, and disciplining team members. Manage delivery fleet maintenance and records, ensure safety compliance, and maintain store cleanliness. Conduct sales calls, process electronic scheduling and payroll, and monitor KPI dashboards and gross profit components. Review monthly P&L statements, handle customer returns, and manage price overrides. Complete Assistant Manager Certification and Manager Development Program requirements. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
- Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately
- Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems
Desired Qualifications
- O'Reilly store and/or distribution center experience
- Completed O'Reilly management training program
- Advanced computer skills
- ASE Certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
