Job Summary
The Store Manager in Training will assist the store manager in sales, store appearance, and overall operations, preparing for a future management position. Responsibilities include supervising retail operations, recruiting and training team members, managing performance evaluations, and ensuring safety compliance. The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and knowledge of automotive parts. Additional training and certifications, including Assistant Manager Certification, are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
- Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately
- Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems
Desired Qualifications
- O’Reilly store and/or distribution center experience
- Completed O’Reilly management training program
- Advanced computer skills
- ASE Certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
