Job Summary
Greet every customer with top-tier service and lead store staff through hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling. Monitor financials, sales, and cash/inventory handling while overseeing product ordering, delivery reconciliation, and inventory levels. Drive sales via foodservice and merchandising management, maintaining cleanliness, organization, safety compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements for alcohol, tobacco, and lottery. Participate in leadership meetings, hold team huddles, and uphold Jacksons standards. This transitional position requires open availability for a 24/7 operation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Applicants need 2+ years of management experience, a Food Handlers Permit, and strong leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (24/7 operation)
- 2+ years of management or supervisory experience (retail or foodservice preferred)
- A Food Handlers Permit as required by county, city, or state
- A proven history of exceptional customer service
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Basic computer and POS system proficiency
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Legal age to stock and sell regulated products
- Strong attention to detail and a history of being self-motivated
- A hands-on leader who leads by example and thrives in a team environment
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds
- Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals
