Job Summary
Store Manager In Training at Goodwill GCNA leads, oversees operations at store locations in Arizona and Maryland, directly supervising the Assistant Store Manager(s), Production Team, and Donation Attendants. Responsibilities include developing and executing retail operations plans to meet operating income, revenue, and production targets; coordinating with the Retail District Manager on strategic plans to drive donations; monitoring product levels and maintaining store standards; managing payroll and operating costs; delivering excellent customer service to donors and customers; ensuring team training and development; partnering with community organizations; and driving implementation of company standards and regional goals. The role emphasizes people leadership, operations management, inventory and donation processing, and a strong focus on customer experience and brand integrity.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years’ work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift
- One-year customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid drivers’ license and clean MVR
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently
