Job Summary
Drives retail operations for Goodwill locations in AZ and MD, leading the store team to achieve operating income, revenue, and production goals. Responsible for payroll and operating costs, inventory, donation processing, customer service, training and development of Team Members, and partnership with the District Manager to implement strategic plans. Oversees store-wide performance, ensures brand standards, collaborates with community organizations, and maintains consistent attendance. Oversees Assistant Store Manager, Production Team, and Donation Attendants; ensures compliance with policies and safety procedures; coordinates staffing, coaching, and performance reviews. Requires high school diploma/equivalent, 2 years retail management experience, 1 year customer service experience, valid driver's license, and ability to pass background checks and drug screens. Also notes phishing scam precautions and corporate mission to empower individuals and strengthen families.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years’ work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift
- One-year customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid drivers’ license and clean MVR
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently
