Job Summary
Store Manager In Training (SMIT) is a development-focused program designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager role over a 16-week, self-paced and collaborative training period with both virtual and hands-on learning. You’ll work with a leadership team including District Leader, HRBP, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach to develop core skills: verbal and written communication, customer care, merchandising execution, and inventory/asset management to support profitability. You’ll actively engage with leaders to support your growth toward promotion, be a management team member on the floor, and align with CVS values. Willingness to accept promotion to Store Manager in the designated market, transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the market, and work schedules that vary based on business needs are expected. Required: High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant work experience in lieu of degree. Anticipated weekly hours: 45.
