Job Summary
Store Manager in Training (SMIT) program at CVS Health is designed to develop you toward a CVS Store Manager role over a 16-week, self-paced, collaborative training with virtual and hands-on learning. You’ll work with a leadership team including a District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach to build leadership and operational skills. Responsibilities include communicating effectively to lead a team, handling customer care to deliver high service levels, executing merchandising strategies to support store sales growth, and managing store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. The program expects active engagement with leaders and readiness to take on promotion roles within the designated market. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, with a four-year college degree preferred or relevant work experience, and retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor. Anticipated weekly hours are 45, and the position is full-time with benefits; the offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
