Job Summary
Store Manager In Training (SMIT) is a development-focused program designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager role. Over 16 weeks, the program combines self-paced, collaborative training with virtual and hands-on learning experiences led by a District Leader, HRBP, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach. Responsibilities include leading a team through strong verbal and written communication, handling customer care, executing merchandising strategies to support store sales growth, and managing store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. The role expects active engagement with leaders in Key Learning Experiences, supporting the store as a management team member, and leading in alignment with CVS values. The program anticipates potential promotion to Store Manager based on performance and openings, with willingness to relocate within the designated market and transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within that market. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a four-year college degree preferred or relevant work experience considered in lieu of a degree. Anticipated hours are 45 per week. Pay range is $18.50-$23.88 per hour and full benefits are provided. Our focus is on growth, development, and helping people on their path to better health.
