Store Manager in Training

Store Manager In Training (SMIT) develops you for a CVS Store Manager role through a 16-week, self-paced and collaborative program with virtual and hands-on learning. You’ll lead and support your team, communicate effectively, perform customer care duties, execute merchandising strategies to drive store sales, and manage inventory and assets to protect profitability. The role includes active engagement with leaders and mentors, expectation to support the store as a management team member, and willingness to accept future promotions to store leadership in the designated market. The program emphasizes growth toward a store manager position, with the possibility of relocation/transfers within the market and varying schedules to meet business needs. High School diploma or GED is required; a four-year college degree is preferred or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Anticipated 45-hour work weeks; compensation range is $18.50-$23.88 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package upon eligibility.
