Job Summary
The SMIT program is designed to develop you toward a CVS Store Manager role over a 16-week self-paced and collaborative training with virtual and hands-on learning, under the guidance of leaders including a District Leader, HRBP, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach. You’ll engage in customer care, merchandising execution, and inventory/asset management while developing leadership and communication skills to support store sales growth. The role requires strong verbal/written communication, a willingness to take on management responsibilities, and readiness to relocate/transfer within the designated market as promotions occur. The program emphasizes CVS values and policies, with promotion to Store Manager dependent on performance and openings. The position is full-time with typical pay between $18.50 and $23.88 hourly, eligibility for comprehensive benefits, and a 45-hour work week; a high school diploma or GED is required and a four-year college degree is preferred or may be considered with relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or relevant work experience may be considered
- Retail management experience, or experience as a CVS Supervisor
- Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores located within the designated market
- Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market
- Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs
