Job Summary
Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program at CVS Health designed to develop you toward a CVS Store Manager role over a structured 16-week, self-paced and collaborative training with virtual and hands-on learning. You will work with a support team including a District Leader, HRBP, Training Store Manager, and your Store Manager coach to grow leadership capabilities. Responsibilities include communicating effectively to support and lead the team, performing customer care duties to provide high levels of service, executing merchandising strategies to drive store sales, and managing store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. You’ll actively engage with leaders in learning experiences, support the store as a management team member, and work toward future promotion within the market. Willingness to accept promotion roles with the market, transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market, and accommodate schedules that vary based on business needs are expected. The program emphasizes CVS values and policies and aims to prepare you for the Store Manager position, with promotion timing dependent on performance and openings.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree Retail management experience, or experience as a CVS SupervisorΓÇÉ a high school diploma or GED is required
- A four year college degree is preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree
