Job Summary

Store Manager In Training (SMIT) is a development-focused program designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager role. The 16-week self-paced and hands-on training, supported by a District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach, aims to develop leadership capabilities and store-operations skills such as verbal/written communication, customer care, merchandising execution, and inventory/asset management. The role supports growth toward a store leadership position with the market, with opportunities for promotion to Store Manager dependent on performance and openings. The program requires willingness to accept promotions within the designated market and to transfer to CVS Pharmacy stores as needed. A schedule that may vary based on business needs is expected, and some embodiments may require availability across locations. High School diploma or GED is required; a four-year college degree is preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree. Anticipated weekly hours: 45. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package and base pay range of $18.50-$26.25 hourly, with actual offers determined by experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
