Job Summary
Store Manager in Training (SMIT) is a development-focused program designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager role. The 16-week curriculum combines virtual and hands-on learning to build leadership capabilities, with support from a District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach. Key responsibilities include leading and engaging the store team, delivering top-tier customer care, executing merchandising strategies to drive sales, and managing inventory/assets to maintain profitability. The program emphasizes CVS values and the potential for promotion to Store Manager within the designated market, with schedule flexibility to meet business needs. High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Anticipated weekly hours are 45; base pay range is $18.50-$26.25 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for full-time colleagues.
