Job Summary
Store Manager In Training (SMIT) is a development-focused program designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager role through a 16-week, self-paced and collaborative training with both virtual and hands-on learning experiences. You’ll work with a leadership team including a District Leader, HRBP, Training Store Manager, and your Store Manager coach; responsibilities include communicating effectively to lead a team, delivering strong customer care, executing merchandising strategies to drive store sales, and managing inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Expect to engage with leaders in learning experiences, support the store as a management team member, and pursue promotion to store manager within your designated market based on performance and openings; willingness to relocate/transfer within the market as needed. Requires High School diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience) and retail management experience or CVS Supervisor experience. Anticipated weekly hours around 45 with a full-time schedule; comprehensive benefits available. The role is located in Mount Dora, FL.
