Job Summary
Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program at CVS Health is a development-focused role designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. The 16-week, self-paced and collaborative training combines virtual and hands-on learning with support from a district leader, HR business partner, training store manager, and your store manager coach. You will develop leadership and communication skills to support and lead a team, execute merchandising strategies to drive store sales, and manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Responsibilities include actively engaging with leaders on Learning Experiences, supporting the store as a management team member, aligning with CVS values and policies, engaging colleagues in support of the company purpose, and being willing to accept promotion roles within the designated market. The program emphasizes growth toward a future store manager role, contingent on performance and openings. Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market and to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs is required. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, with a four-year college degree preferred, or relevant work experience considered in lieu of a degree. The anticipated weekly hours are 45, and the pay range is $18.50-$23.88 hourly. Required Qualifications
