Job Summary
Drive toward store leadership excellence through a structured 16-week SMIT program designed to develop you into a CVS Store Manager. You’ll partner with leaders and coaches to build skills in customer care, leadership communication, merchandising execution, and inventory/asset management while supporting store sales growth and profitability. You’ll participate in self-paced and hands-on training with a team of leaders (District Leader, HRBP, Training Store Manager, Store Manager coach) and take on management responsibilities as you progress. The role requires a willingness to accept promotion roles within the designated market, relocation as needed, and a schedule that varies with business needs. The program emphasizes growth toward a store manager position, with actual promotion decisions dependent on performance and openings; a four-year degree is preferred or equivalent retail experience. Key duties include facilitating effective team communication, delivering high levels of customer care, executing merchandising strategies, managing inventory, and supporting store leadership in achieving store objectives. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or Retail management experience, or experience as a CVS Supervisor
- Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores located within designated market
