Job Summary
Manage store operations, staff, and inventory under Store Manager supervision while completing a structured leadership and customer service training program. Ensure compliance with health codes and safety regulations, supervise daily workflows, and assist in creating employee schedules. Monitor sales reports, track waste, and address customer complaints or conflicts professionally. Assist in placing product orders, conducting inventory counts, and implementing operational improvements based on feedback. Full-time role with weekly pay at $18.00 per hour; valid driver's license required. Some travel to other store locations may be required.
Required Qualifications

- GED or high school diploma
- Prior experience in retail operations, or customer service
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Interest in pursuing a career in retail management
- Willingness to grow and develop skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and management
- Ability to identify challenges in store operations and offer solutions that ensure smooth operation

- A customer-first mindset with the ability to anticipate needs, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction
- Basic understanding of safety and sanitation procedures, including knowledge of local health codes and regulations
- Strong time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory software, and scheduling tools
- Ability to stand extended periods (up to 8 hours) during shifts
- Capable of lifting boxes and products, maximum 50 lbs., frequently 10-25 lbs., and carrying items across the store
- Ability to bend, squat, and reach for products on shelves, both high and low
- Ability to climb a ladder as needed
- Ability to walk throughout the store and between departments regularly
- Ability to handle cash, operate registers, and bag items efficiently
- Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks such as scanning items, restocking, and organizing products
- Able to work in cold environments, including freezers and refrigerators, when restocking products
- The role requires mental focus and stamina to perform physical tasks consistently and efficiently throughout the shift
- Exposure to varying kitchen temperatures (hot cooking surfaces and cold storage areas)
- Seasonal snow removal, as needed
- Ability to handle emergency situations
- Ability to work alone
- Some travel to other store locations
Desired Qualifications
