Job Summary
Store Manager in Training (MIT) will participate in a structured training program to develop leadership, customer service, inventory management, and store-operations skills in a convenience-store retail environment. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating store workflows, scheduling, inventory ordering and control, ensuring health/safety compliance and customer service excellence, and learning to drive profitability through waste reduction and operational efficiency. The program leads toward eventually becoming a Store Manager, with hands-on experience in staff supervision, safety procedures, daily sales and inventory reporting, labor-cost management, and adherence to local/state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Previous management experience required
- GED or high school diploma required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Some travel to other store locations may be required
