Job Summary
Store Manager in Training (SMIT) is a development-focused program designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager role through a structured 16-week curriculum delivered with virtual and hands-on learning. You will engage with leaders and coaches to develop communication, customer service, merchandising, and inventory-management skills, lead in a manner consistent with CVS values, and participate in key learning experiences aimed at future store leadership. The role requires active engagement with leadership, willingness to accept promotion roles within the designated market, and the ability to transfer to CVS Pharmacy stores in the market as needed. The program culminates in leadership readiness with ongoing consideration for promotion based on performance and openings. Requires a High School diploma or GED; a four-year college degree is preferred or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree; typical weekly hours are 40; full-time with competitive benefits.
