Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager role over a 16-week period with a mix of virtual and hands-on learning. You will work with a district leader, HR partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach to develop leadership skills, communicate effectively, provide excellent customer service, execute merchandising strategies, and manage store inventory and assets to support profitability. You are expected to actively engage with leadership experiences, support the store as a management team member, participate in promotion pathways within the designated market, and be willing to relocate/transfer within the market as needed. The role requires high school diploma or GED (bachelor’s degree preferred), retail management experience or CVS supervisor experience, and a schedule that may vary based on business needs. Anticipated weekly hours are 40, with a base pay range of $18.50–$28.67 per hour; actual offer depends on factors including experience and geography.
