Job Summary
Store Manager in Swannanoa, NC responsible for the management of all store employees and the effective planning and execution of store processes including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling, staffing and support. Oversees recruiting, selection, training, performance evaluations, and coaching/counseling up to termination; guides payroll/pay-rate decisions; communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations; ensures proper opening/closing; analyzes operating statements for sales, profitability, and inventory issues; manages inventory accuracy, replenishment, and merchandising presentation; enforces cash handling and loss-prevention controls; delivers superior customer service leadership; maintains a clean, safe, and well-organized store; ensures adherence to SOPs and company policies; completes paperwork and deadlines. Qualifications emphasize knowledge of retail management, hiring/training practices, cash handling, inventory, and compliance; bilingual Spanish preference cited for some locations. Mastery of store operations, staffing, and leadership is expected.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred
