Job Summary
STORE MANAGER at Dollar General in Pittsburgh, PA. Responsible for the management of all store employees and the effective planning and implementation of store processes including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling, staffing and support. Recruits, selects and retains qualified employees; trains and evaluates staff; determines pay/advancement considerations; communicates safety and policy expectations; ensures consistent opening and closing of the store; analyzes operating statements for sales, profitability, and inventory control; manages stock planning, replenishment, and cycle counts; oversees merchandise presentation, pricing, and signage; maintains accurate inventory and cash control; provides strong customer service leadership; maintains a clean, safe, and compliant store environment; adheres to company SOPs and policies and completes all required documentation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred
