Job Summary
Store Manager in Penn Hills, PA: Responsible for overseeing all store operations, including staffing, training, performance evaluations, scheduling, inventory management, ordering, merchandising, cash controls, and customer service. Lead recruitment and development of employees, ensure compliance with policies and labor laws, manage opening/closing procedures, analyze sales trends and expenses, maintain store presentation, and uphold safety and security standards. Requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and ability to govern financial integrity and store performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and inventory management
- Ability to read and interpret documents and perform basic math
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and termination practices including legal compliance
