Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for the comprehensive management of store operations, including staffing, training, performance evaluations, and adherence to cash handling, inventory, merchandising, and safety policies. Key duties include recruiting and retaining qualified employees, training and evaluating staff, setting pay and advancement, ensuring proper staffing, opening/closing the store, monitoring sales and inventory trends, managing replenishment and stock levels, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, maintaining a secure and clean store environment, and delivering superior customer service leadership while coordinating with corporate policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to recruit, interview, hire, and train staff
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to lead and develop staff
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and company policies
