Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for the management of all employees and overall store operations including planning and implementing store processes (ordering, receiving, stocking, presenting, selling), staffing and training, performance evaluations, payroll-related decisions, safety and policy enforcement, and ensuring in-stock targets and inventory integrity. Leads customer service, maintains store appearance and cleanliness, opens/closes the store regularly, and ensures compliance with company procedures and cash controls.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and basic accounting
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling and termination practices including legal compliance and internal processes
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
