Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for the management of all employees and store processes, including staffing, training, performance evaluations, inventory management, cash control, customer service leadership, and adherence to safety and company policies. Oversees ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, and store operations; ensures proper staffing, opening/closing, and financial integrity through cashier accountability and safe practices. Requires recruiting, hiring and development of staff, compliance with federal/state labor laws, and effective communication to drive sales, profitability, and store performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
