Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for the management of all employees and the effective planning and implementation of store processes including staffing, training, performance evaluations, inventory management, cash handling, merchandising, and customer service leadership. Oversees opening/closing, staffing levels, adherence to policies, budgeting and profitability analysis, stock replenishment, safety and security practices, and maintaining a clean, well-organized store; communicates expectations and ensures compliance with federal/state labor laws and company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices
