Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for the management of all store employees and execution of store processes, including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling, staffing, training, performance evaluations, and adherence to safety and cash-control procedures. Oversees staffing, training, performance reviews, and compliance with federal/state labor laws; ensures the store is properly staffed, opened/closed as required, and operates with accurate inventory, proper merchandising, cashier accountability, and secure cash handling. Leads customer service excellence, implements company policies, drives sales and profitability, manages inventory and shrink, and recruits and develops store staff to supportDollar General’s operating standards and SOPs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred
