Job Summary
Store Manager position in Latta, SC at Dollar General. Responsible for managing all store employees and store processes including staffing, training, performance evaluations, inventory and merchandising, ordering, cash handling, and safety/compliance. Leads recruiting, coaching, and development of staff; ensures proper staffing, opening/closing procedures, and adherence to company policies. Oversees financial performance through monitoring sales, profitability, turns, shrink, and compliance with cash control procedures; maintains inventory accuracy and store presentation. Requires effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with strong knowledge of retail operations, cash handling, inventory, and safety practices. Bilingual Spanish speakers may be preferred. High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred; one year of management experience in a retail environment is preferred.
