Job Summary
Manages all aspects of store operations at a Dollar General location, including staffing, training, performance evaluations, cash control, inventory management, merchandising, pricing, and adherence to company policies and safety standards. Responsibilities include recruiting and retaining qualified employees, opening and closing the store, reviewing operating statements and inventory needs, ensuring proper stock levels, and providing superior customer service leadership. Must ensure the store is properly staffed, compliant with labor laws, and operates efficiently with attention to accurate records, cash handling, and secure procedures. Strong emphasis on leadership, communication, problem solving, and ensuring a clean, safe shopping environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred
