Job Summary
Store Manager at Dollar General in Holiday Island, AR, responsible for the management of all store employees, recruiting and training, scheduling/opening and closing, monitoring inventory and replenishment, maintaining pricing and signage, ensuring financial integrity and cash control, and providing strong customer service leadership while enforcing safety policies and company procedures. Requires store-level leadership, experience coordinating staffing, evaluating performance, and driving sales and profitability through effective operations and merchandising.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and staffing capabilities
