STORE MANAGER IN CINCINNATI, OH

Store Manager responsible for managing all employees and overseeing store processes including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling, staffing and support. Recruits, selects and retains qualified employees; provides training, conducts performance evaluations, and counsels up to termination when needed. Makes recommendations on pay and advancement; communicates performance, safety, and policy expectations; ensures proper opening and closing at least twice weekly. Analyzes operating statements to identify trends, expenses, shrink, and errors; ensures inventory targets via ordering plans and cycle counts; coordinates staging, stocking, and storage of merchandise; maintains proper presentation and pricing; safeguards inventory and cash by enforcing cash-handling and security procedures. Maintains a clean, well-organized store and a safe environment; follows SOPs and company communications; completes required paperwork on deadlines. Qualifications include ability to read and interpret documents, basic math, cash handling, inventory and merchandising knowledge, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and termination practices; bilingual Spanish speakers may be preferred. Education requirement includes high school diploma or equivalent; management experience in retail is preferred.
