Job Summary
Oversee the Leonard Shelby, NC sales lot's financial performance, operational execution, and customer experience while ensuring Company policies and quality standards are consistently met. Drive sales goals by analyzing data to identify growth opportunities and implementing strategies to increase revenue. Manage store inventory, control expenses, and maintain accurate records for cash handling, documentation, and compliance reporting. Lead a team of retail employees by scheduling staff, providing training, and addressing performance concerns to foster a positive work environment. Resolve customer inquiries, warranty issues, and order discrepancies promptly to ensure satisfaction. Conduct regular audits of store processes and operational practices to identify deficiencies and enforce safety requirements. This role requires a background in retail management, proven ability to meet sales targets, and the capacity to work variable schedules including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must PASS a background and drug test
- Proven experience in a similar role in the retail sector
- Proven ability to meet sales targets
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent negotiation, and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions
- Knowledge of the local market and customer preferences
- Proven track record of managing multiple retail stores or a district
- Strong understanding of retail operations, including sales, customer service, and merchandising
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends as needed
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 3+ years' experience in a management role in sales, retail, vehicle accessories, or inventory management
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, such as extreme heat or cold, indoors and outdoors as needed
- Ability to move easily around the store, including walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to handle and manipulate objects, use a computer, operate a cash register and other equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to type on a keyboard
- Ability to remain in a stationary position
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to hear and talk
- Ability to work variable schedules, including weekends and holidays
