Job Summary
Store Manager II at TD Bank leads/coaches the store team to deliver a legendary Employee and Customer Experience while growing the store portfolio through deposits, loans, and fees. Responsibilities include hiring and developing staff, setting goals, managing performance and risk, overseeing multiple store locations or a complex/denovo store, originating loan applications and handling lending conditions/closings, ensuring regulatory compliance (NMLS/Mortgage licensing), and collaborating with partners across lines of business to drive deposits, investments, and loan growth. Requires deep knowledge of banking operations, risk management of store processes, and strong communication and analytical skills; Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience and 4+ years in related roles are required. Includes leadership of service and advice teams, community engagement, and achievement of store objectives within a defined risk framework. OCC/Mortgage regulatory requirements and eligibility for NMLS registration are noted; travel as needed. TD emphasizes comprehensive training, career development, and total rewards.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years related experience in retail, customer service and/or financial services industries
- supervisory, leadership and coaching experience
- 4+ years experience of proven business development skills
- 4+ years of proven leadership and coaching experience
- Small Business and Consumer lending experience
- Knowledge of Bank product lines and services; understanding of Store operations and security
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities; strategic alignment to store goals
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and collaborative skills; excellent verbal and written communication
- Notary License (preferred)
- OCC/Regulatory language familiarity (Mortgage Lending context)
- Ability to meet travel requirements (Domestic Travel – Occasional)
- OCC/MORTGAGE regulatory compliance familiarity
- NMLS registration eligibility
