Job Summary
This Store Manager I role oversees all facets of daily store operations to boost sales and profit, coaching staff on selling techniques, inventory practices, and product knowledge. Responsibilities include monitoring sales against goals, enforcing company policies, delivering customer service, driving repeat business, recruiting and developing staff, maintaining inventory accuracy and conducting store inventories, audits, and reports, and ensuring adherence to procedures while fostering teamwork and high morale.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field or at least 3 years of related experience may be substituted
- 2-3 years of retail and/or business supervisory experience preferred or completion of a Manager Trainee Program
- Working experience with MS Office, Google, internet and e-mail
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and effective decision-making
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 60 lbs., forklift certification as assigned
