Job Summary
Monitor and evaluate day-to-day operations of a single Thrift Store, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Process, display, and price donated items to ensure financial return, while rotating and restocking merchandise for quick turnover. Administer work schedules for Store Clerks and Sorting Room Workers, train staff on proper methods, and inspect completed work for accuracy. Assist customers with store policies, pricing questions, and donation loading, providing tax receipts as needed. Prepare and deliver bank deposits. Maintain accountability and security of all store items and funds. Work Tues-Sat 9:00-6:00 pm (40 hours). Requires high school diploma, three years retail experience with one year supervisory, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Three years progressively responsible experience working in a retail store environment with at least one year experience in a supervisory capacity
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Valid Drivers Licensee
