Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for the successful operation of the store, achieving sales and profits within budget, supervising grocery department sales workers, and handling duties including purchasing, budgeting, accounting, and personnel work. Key duties include providing customer service, monitoring sales, assigning duties, directing staff, inventory management, record keeping, enforcing safety and company policies, training and evaluating personnel, maintaining merchandising standards, scheduling, payroll-related tasks, and maintaining a favorable customer image through leadership and operational oversight.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Experience: No prior experience necessary
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office and other general computer knowledge
- Other Requirements: Required to have access to a phone at all times and must be able to complete basic math calculations.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stand, walk, sit frequently; lift 10-100 lbs as needed; other physical requirements described in posting.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT: Grocery and Store Office environment
