Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for the operations and performance of the designated Homes Alive Pets store, leading staff, hiring, training, scheduling, and delegating responsibilities; ensure high-quality floor inventory presentation, inventory management, and excellent customer service; manage shrinkage, returns, pricing, promotions, and store merchandising; drive staff development, teamwork, and smooth daily operations; requires 5+ years of retail/grocery/restaurant management experience, a Class 5 driver’s license, and CPR-A/E AED First Aid training (reimbursed for renewals). Training in Calgary for ~1 month with travel and accommodations provided; schedule is full-time (40 hrs/week), Tuesday to Saturday; compensation $50,000–$60,000; benefits include dental, disability, extended health care, life insurance, PTO, vision, and staff discounts.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of management experience in retail, grocery, or restaurant
- Possess a Class 5 Driver’s License
- Emergency First Aid – CPR-A & AED (Must be acquired by end of 3-month probation; company reimburses license renewals)
