Job Summary
Store Manager at Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay region overseeing retail operations, leading the Assistant Store Manager, Production Team, and Donation Attendants to drive store performance, customer service, and community impact. Responsibilities include developing and executing operations plans to meet goals for operating income, revenue, and production; coaching and developing Team Members for internal promotions; coordinating with the Retail District Manager on strategic donations initiatives; monitoring inventory, payroll and operating costs to budget; ensuring store appearance, donor and customer service quality, and adherence to company standards; and transferring to different stores as needed to support business needs. Requires leadership, financial acumen, strong communication, and the ability to maintain regular in-person attendance in a full-time retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years’ work experience in retail management, preferably thrift
- One year of customer service experience
- Understanding of financial metrics, reporting, and budget management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to pass a background check, as applicable
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently
