Job Summary
As Store Manager for Carter’s in Salisbury, MD, you’ll lead the store team to deliver an exceptional customer experience, coach and develop talent, and drive top-line results. You’ll build a talent pipeline, foster a welcoming and inclusive environment, coach teams to reach their potential, own merchandising and operations, manage payroll and budgets, analyze KPIs to drive results, and seamlessly lead an omnichannel experience. You’ll guide and motivate staff to participate in loyalty programs, ensure loss prevention and operational controls, and maintain strong customer service on the sales floor while supporting the brand’s baby-focused product styles and features. Additional responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, training, performance recognition, and ensuring a positive, professional environment that reflects Carter’s values. Qualifications include at least 3 years of retail or related management experience and a high school diploma or GED. The role requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and to stand for extended periods, with availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
