Job Summary
Prioritize and delegate tasks to meet selling, visual, and operational needs while maintaining a clean, replenished store and stockroom. Build product confidence through educational tools and execute all product, visual, and marketing directives to ensure customer satisfaction. Anticipate customer needs, drive digital sales strategies including ship-from-store and BOPIS, and communicate feedback to district or market managers. Coach management and associate teams to align with company strategies, manage performance issues, and achieve sales and shrinkage goals. Interpret business reports and payroll tools to drive performance, and partner with supervisors to resolve customer and associate issues.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Proven ability to drive sales results in a high sales volume environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to interpret all policies and procedures to resolve customer and associate issues
- Willingness to travel periodically to attend meetings/workshops (overnight may be necessary)
- Proficient in math and possesses strong computer skills
- Minimum five years retail experience required, with a proven ability to drive sales results
- Minimum of two years of retail management experience required
- Ability to balance a strong management presence with a high level of approachability, encouraging and eliciting associate feedback and interaction
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
- Ability to frequently sit/stand for long periods of time
- Ability to climb ladders as needed
- Ability to regularly talk or hear
- Ability to frequently sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel
- Ability to reach, twist or squat
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom and office areas
