Job Summary
Store Manager role responsible for recruiting staff, meeting sales goals, and developing a high-performing sales team. Leads training, motivation, and coaching to drive profitability and customer/employee satisfaction. Manages scheduling and task delegation, monitors controllable expenses, ensures store compliance and appearance, builds customer loyalty, analyzes daily sales and expenses to maximize profits, handles cash responsibly, and fosters a positive, team-oriented environment in a retail setting. Requires strong communication, retail/customer-service experience, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience; must be able to work flexible hours including nights/weekends and lift 25 pounds. Compensation includes starting pay in the $16-$20/hour range plus commission and bonuses, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year supervisory experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in retail/customer service environment
- Ability to effectively influence others
- Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, for 7+hours per day
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
- Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends
