Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of the retail business, including managing budgets, exceeding sales targets, and ensuring daily customer experience goals are met. Recruit, train, and develop a diverse team on brand values, product knowledge, and service standards while coaching staff through performance plans. Execute merchandising and inventory plans to maintain stock levels and drive sales, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and anti-harassment policies. Balance scheduling for peak times with labor budget constraints and foster an inclusive environment through DEIB initiatives. This role supports Lush's mission of fair trade sourcing and sustainable communities across the Fox River Mall location.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years managing in a retail environment
- Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution and performance management
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong customer service, supervisory and sales skills
- Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the shop including holidays, evenings, and weekends
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with consultation-based customer service models
- Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback
- Strong record of accomplishment of developing retail staff careers
- Proficient in excel, Microsoft suit, and adaptable to other systems as required
- Experience in cross cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
