Job Summary
Lead the store from the floor by modeling selling behaviors, coaching associates, and managing labor to match business needs while staying on budget. Keep operations humming through freight flow, zone maintenance, and clear priorities, ensuring every customer leaves happy. Drive sales execution, pivot quickly during fast changes, and foster a positive, high-performing culture. Success is measured by sales and labor results, TruRating feedback, store scorecard performance, and team retention. This role requires flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with an hourly pay range of $24.23 to $30.58.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of management experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25lbs and place/move merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Ability to operate equipment such as ladders, pallet jacks, and handheld devices
- Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing a store or large department — retail preferred but not required
- You've grown from the inside — promotion from assistant or co-manager roles is a big plus
- Comfort leading in fast-paced, high-volume, or high-complexity store environments
- 5–10+ years of leadership experience where you've led teams and delivered results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
