Job Summary
Lead the store by modeling selling behaviors, coaching the team, and ensuring operations like freight flow and zone maintenance stay sharp. Manage labor flexibly to match business needs while driving sales and maintaining budget control. Keep the team positive and high-performing by delivering real-time feedback and celebrating wins. Pivot quickly when the day throws curveballs and maintain integrity under pressure. Success is measured by sales, labor results, TruRating feedback, and store scorecard performance. This role requires leading from the floor with movement and energy, utilizing structured planning for development and volume. You'll operate equipment, move merchandise, and communicate with customers and associates throughout the store.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25lbs and place/move merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Ability to operate equipment such as ladders, pallet jacks, and handheld devices
- Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in situations involving customers, managers, and coworkers
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25lbs and place/move merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Ability to operate equipment such as ladders, pallet jacks, and handheld devices

Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing a store or large department — retail preferred but not required
- You've grown from the inside — promotion from assistant or co-manager roles is a big plus
- Comfort leading in fast-paced, high-volume, or high-complexity store environments
- 5–10+ years of leadership experience where you've led teams and delivered results
