Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of the retail business by recruiting, training, and developing team members on brand values, products, and service. Collaborate with staff to exceed daily sales goals, manage budgets, and execute merchandising plans that drive KPIs and ensure a consistent customer experience. Ensure shop compliance with policies, inventory rotation, and health and safety protocols while balancing scheduling to meet peak times and payroll accuracy. Lead the team in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion through DEIB training and constructive performance feedback.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years managing in a retail environment
- Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution and performance management
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong customer service, supervisory and sales skills
- Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the shop including holidays, evenings, and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with consultation-based customer service models
- Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback
- Strong record of accomplishment of developing retail staff careers
- Proficient in excel, Microsoft suit, and adaptable to other systems as required
- Experience in cross cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
