Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of self-storage locations by ensuring high cleanliness standards, maintaining financial accuracy through reporting, and delivering operational excellence. Build strong customer relationships through in-person and phone interactions while maximizing sales objectives via unit rentals, insurance, and moving supplies. Perform daily site safety inspections, handle cash transactions and bank deposits, and resolve customer concerns regarding billing, security, and site usage. Monitor store budgets and manage routine administrative tasks including auction files and delinquent account follow-ups. This role requires a valid driver's license and involves physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs. Day shift only with office closing at 6pm; Sundays off dependent on location. Compensation starts at $22.00-$23.00 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer-facing work experience
- Leadership experience preferred but not required
- Sale experience preferred
- Current valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle; except in New York City and Brooklyn
- High School diploma or GED is required
- college education is a plus
- Day shift only
- This location is closed on Sundays
- Regularly required to lift or move items up to 35 lbs
- occasionally up to 50 lbs
