Job Summary
Store Manager position at an NAPA auto parts retail store. Lead, develop, and motivate a retail team to deliver exceptional customer care, drive revenue and profitability, manage P&L, and implement business plans. Responsibilities include identifying new customers and wholesale accounts, supporting outside sales, overseeing inventory and seasonal shifts, ensuring store assets are secure and well-maintained, and fostering a high-energy, customer-centric environment. Ideal candidate has leadership experience in auto parts or related retail, strong focus on process improvement, and ability to operate cash registers and computer/catalog systems. ASE Certifications and automotive industry passion are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Passion for delivering customer care and building long term relationships
- Knowledge of inventory controls and stocking levels
- Experience in a parts store, auto industry, or related retail management
- Ability to operate a cash register and navigate computer systems
- Background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership (preferred)
- ASE Certifications (preferred)
