Job Summary
Lead store operations and achieve sales and surplus targets for the Elwood Salvos Store. Manage stock flow, pricing, and visual merchandising while inspiring, training, and developing a team of employees and volunteers. Keep budgets on track, manage rosters and wage costs, and build strong community connections with local groups and partners. This permanent, full-time role reports to the Area Manager and requires retail management experience and leadership skills. Applications close as soon as a suitable candidate is secured.
Required Qualifications
- Retail management experience
- Strong proven customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and engage people
- Ability to work to budgets and manage operational priorities
- Alignment with The Salvation Army Mission and Values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity
- Successful completion of a Working with Children Check
- Mandatory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
